How to make changes to your benefits and cover

After you have taken out your Discovery Life policy with the help of your financial adviser, it is important for you to review your decisions. Your circumstances will change, for example you may get married, have a child, get promoted, etc. As a result your protection needs will change over time.

If you need to make changes to your LIFE PLAN, review your options with your financial adviser to make sure that your protection benefits are in line with your needs and expectations.

How to make changes to your personal details

  1. You can call the Discovery Life contact centre on 0860 00 5433 to update your personal or contact details.
  2. To change your bank account details you must send it to us in writing. We will also need proof of the account. Please send us a bank statement, cancelled cheque or a letter on the relevant bank’s letterhead. If the owner of the policy and the owner of the bank account are not the same we will need signed letters agreeing to the changed bank account details from both parties.
  3. Fill out the Beneficiary nomination form to update your list of beneficiaries.
  4. To cede your LIFE PLAN complete the Cession form.
