The Discovery Life Philanthropy FUND™ is a non-profit initiative that allows you to make a contribution to your choice of charities every 5 years and to leave a lump sum to these charities when you die. |
How does it work?
You can choose the amount of life cover you would like to donate when you die. This is added to your existing LIFE PLAN.
Nominate up to 10 charities from a comprehensive list of approved charities. You can also choose one of the three expertly managed Discovery Philanthropy portfolios which have a selected range of charities.
The approved charities have been categorised into three areas of need:
Quick Facts
- Every five years up to 70% of your premiums will be paid to your chosen charities, if you manage your health;
- A tax certificate will be provided giving full tax deduction for the amounts paid to your chosen charities.
