Points and status
As you show good driving behaviour, you earn DQ Points™, which you can gather towards increasing your VitalityDrive™ status. An increased status means increased rewards.
Earn (DQ) Points™ for improving your driving and vehicle safety
DQ-Track™ measures driving behaviour in real time. Each month, you earn (DQ)™ Points based on, your actual driving behaviour. To determine how well you drive, we consider factors such as harsh braking, acceleration and cornering, which increase the risk of losing of control of a vehicle. You can also use the interactive online tool, DQ Mapper™, to see your past trip information and driver records.
VitalityDrive™ will allocate 400 DQ Points™ for your driver performance while we gather data during the first two months of the policy. In your first policy month, you will be on Neutral status.
In addition to earning DQ Points™ for driving well, you can earn up to 500 DQ Points™ a month by taking steps to improve your driving knowledge, awareness and vehicle safety.
Your DQ Points™ add up to determine your VitalityDrive™ status
You earn a VitalityDrive™ status based on how many DQ Points™ you have earned in that month. Your overall VitalityDrive™ status determines the level of rewards you’ll qualify for in a given month – your overall status is determined by how many DQ Points you have earned in the previous month, or the current month – whichever is higher.
