Discovery ProPBM, our own pharmacy claim management established in 2009, embodies our business strategy of offering the medical schemes we administer a comprehensive range of managed care services. In keeping with this strategy Discovery Health has our own price file, which is key to the accurate functioning and benefits of using Discovery ProPBM.
In using Discovery ProPBM, you also have dedicated call centres to support you with any questions you have.

Register your pharmacy to receive payment from Discovery Health
We settle claims promptly and with the highest possible level of accuracy. To ensure we pay your claims for dispensing medicine to members of any of the schemes that Discovery Health administers, we need you to register with us. It also ensures we can effectively communicate with you and give you information that is relevant to your practice.
Please send us:
- a copy of your identity document
- your practice code numbering system (PCNS) on the take on form
- the completed Discovery Health take on form
- the Discovery Health banking details form.
Note: if we do not have your banking details, we will pay the claims your practice submits to our members
