You can help give a child a new smile with Vitality MoveToGive

Discovery Vitality members can now donate their Discovery Miles to the Smile Foundation through Vitality MoveToGive - and give a child a new smile in 2021.

What does Smile Foundation do?

Smile Foundation is a non-governmental organisation that is deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of South African children living with facial conditions. The organisation works with academic hospitals to give children access to corrective facial reconstructive surgery and treatments. It strives to support and empower children having to endure the hardships of living with anomalies, for example cleft lip, cleft palate, burn wounds and more.

You can help Smile Foundation uplift children's lives

Smile Foundation is dedicated to uplifting children's lives and this month, you can support this worthy cause through Vitality MoveToGive.

When you get active, drive well and spend responsibly, you can earn Discovery Miles through Vitality Active Rewards and donate them to the Smile Foundation:

• For 200 Discovery Miles, you can contribute towards speech therapy for a child who has had reconstruction cleft surgery.
• For 500 Discovery Miles, you can help provide counselling to a parent of a child who has had reconstructive cleft surgery
• For 1 500 Discovery Miles, you can help a child receive reconstructive surgery.

How can you help?

You can help a child smile again by donating your Discovery Miles to the Smile Foundation in the Discovery app.

To donate to Vitality MoveToGive, all you have to do is:

1. Activate Vitality Active Rewards in the latest version of the Discovery app.
2. Achieve your exercise, drive or money goals to earn a play on the gameboard.
3. Pick a tile on the gameboard to reveal Discovery Miles.
4. Spend your Discovery Miles on Vitality MoveToGive charity donations.
