Three tips to safer cycling this World Bicycle Day

Tip 1: Seek safety in numbers

This helps ensure there's someone on hand in case of an incident or injury. This is especially necessary if you're out while it's still a bit dark, or during longer weekend rides in the countryside.

Try to always wear bright and reflective clothing, which helps motorists spot you from afar. When riding after bad weather, be extra cautious. Rain and storms can result in loose rubble, stones and sand scattered on the roads, which could make you skid.
