As a Blue or Bronze Vitality member, or if you are not part of the Vitality programme,  you can now enjoy a retirement income boost equivalent to the retirement income boost of a client on Silver Vitality status, for the first two years of retirement.

This means that your retirement income can now be boosted by up to 40%, resulting in you getting more than double the normal retirement income boosts. After the first two years, you will receive the normal retirement income boosts based on your Vitality status at the time. This special offer also allows you time to achieve a Vitality status that gives you maximum rewards, which can be as high as up to a 50% boost to your retirement income.

Important information

• We will use a minimum of Silver Vitality status to calculate the clients' Retirement Income Investment Integrator boost on all new business into the Linked Retirement Income Plan over the special offer period. This will only apply for the first two years in retirement. After two years, clients will receive the normal retirement income boost percentage based on their Vitality status at the time.
• To qualify for the special offer, all documentation must be completed and money reflecting in our account by the 31 August 2017. However, please note that application forms must still be completed and received by 30 June 2017.
• This special offer will only apply to new business written in the special offer period. Existing business and cases that are already in the pipeline will not qualify for this special offer
• Clients who are on Silver, Gold or Diamond Vitality status will receive the normal income boost percentage applicable to their Vitality status.
• The Retirement Income Investment Integrator boost will cease on transfer of the Linked Retirement Income Plan to another provider.
• Fund switches during the first 10 years in retirement may affect the Retirement Income Investment Integrator boosts, since switches may affect the proportion of a client’s investment in qualifying Discovery funds. Switching out of qualifying Discovery funds will result in lower income boosts.
