How to redeem a voucher to use an eSIM

To redeem your voucher:
- Go to our page on KnowRoaming:
www.knowroaming.com/discoverybank. - Enter your personalised voucher code and select 'Validate Voucher'.
- Enter your name, email address and click 'Redeem Voucher'.
- Confirm your email address.

It's best to install your eSIM the day before you travel
To install the eSIM:
- Follow the instructions to install the eSIM based on your device type.
- You have 90 days in which to activate the voucher after redeeming it. We recommend you install your eSIM the day before travel.

You should activate your eSIM on arrival at your destination
To activate your eSIM:
- You activate your new eSIM by connecting to an approved network when you land.
- Once the eSIM is activated, the 1 gigabyte eSIM package will be valid for 7 days.
- If you run out of data, you can easily top up in the KnowRoaming app or website!

What else you need to know:
- You can use the KnowRoaming eSIM global package in any of 142 countries on the global package countries list, but you cannot use this eSIM voucher in South Africa. Read the countries on the KnowRoaming website.
- You can redeem this eSIM voucher until 31 August 2025.
- Once you've redeemed the voucher code on the Discovery Bank KnowRoaming landing page, you have 90 days in which to activate it - we recommend you install your eSIM the day before travel and activate it on arrival.
- Once you activate your eSIM by connecting to an approved network in another country, the one gigabyte eSIM package will be valid for seven days.
- To use this benefit, your cellphone must be eSIM compatible and your phone must not be network locked.
