Discovery Retirement Optimiser offer
You can get more income in retirement by converting your unused life cover into tax-free income through the Life Plan Optimiser benefit. The Life Plan Optimiser benefit will be multiplied by 1.2* when you invest in a Discovery Retirement Optimiser, which further increases your retirement income.

Lump-sum Endowment Plan offer
You can get a boost of 20%** to your initial investment in a lump-sum local Endowment Plan. This boost can be up to 30% if you link a Discovery Life Plan with a lump-sum local Endowment Plan. The size of your boost depends on the size of your Discovery Life Plan premium.

Linked Retirement Income Plan offer
If you are on Bronze Vitality status or lower, this offer will place you on at least Silver Vitality status which allows you enough time to improve your Vitality status to maximize your income boost. The income boost for Silver Vitality status is up to 40%*** and you can receive this for the first two years of your retirement.

* The Life Plan Optimiser boost is an increase to your retirement savings. It assumes that you invest 100% in Discovery funds. It also assumes a retirement age of 65, unless you are older than age 55 then the boost will be based on a term of 10 years to retirement. It also assumes that there is no servicing done after 29 March 2018 on the Life Plan and Discovery Retirement Optimiser.
** This 20% boost assumes that you invest 100% in Discovery funds. It also assumes that there is no servicing done after 3 April 2018 on your Life Plan and your lump-sum Endowment Plan.
*** The retirement income boost percentage depends on the amount of retirement income that you withdraw yearly, your Vitality status, and the percentage of Discovery funds that you are invested in.
