We're excited to partner with parents to help ensure their children get active, healthy, rewarded and earn Discovery Miles with Vitality Active Rewards for Kids and Vitality Active Rewards for Teens.
Children earn age-appropriate rewards for getting healthier
Vitality Active Rewards for Kids (2 to 13 years old)
What better way to encourage healthy behaviour changes in children than by rewarding them for being active and healthy? With Vitality Active Rewards for Kids, children age 2 - 13 can now get rewarded and earn Discovery Miles for successfully completing age appropriate challenges that reinforce healthy behaviour and doing their relevant health checks.
With exciting Disney Pixar content and reward partners like Steam, Typo, Kauai, Cotton On, Sony PlayStation and more to spend their Discovery Miles at, kids are sure to get excited about getting healthy and understanding their health.
How to get started?
Parents, you will be able to use the Vitality Active Rewards for Kids programme to help encourage your children to engage in healthy activities. You'll simply activate the programme for your child underneath the 'Kids and Teens' section on Vitality Active Rewards in the Discovery app and create a profile for your child. Your child will be able to engage with the app through on your mobile device to ensure digital safety.
Give your child a healthy head start and activate Vitality Active Rewards for Kids.
Vitality Active Rewards for Teens (14 to 17 years old)
Teens aged 14 to 17 now have their own access to the Vitality Active Rewards programme. By exercising and looking after their health, they can earn Discovery Miles to spend at a range of exciting reward partners.
How does it work?
Once you've given your consent for your teen to participate in Vitality Active Rewards for Teens from the 'Kids and Teens' section on your profile in the Discovery app, your teen can download the Discovery app on their phone and register a Discovery profile. They can then log in and start participating in Vitality Active Rewards. They will get their own weekly fitness goals to achieve and the chance to earn Discovery Miles. They will also be encouraged to do relevant health checks.
Teens can spend their Discovery Miles at all the existing Vitality Active Rewards partners as well as new partners like Sony PlayStation, Steam, Cotton On, Exclusive Books, Typo & more.
Kids earn Vitality Points
From 1 January 2020, the only health activity for which kids and teens will continue to earn Vitality points is vaccines.
