Transaction account clients can now earn Ðiscovery Miles on their debit card purchases

As of 1 December 2023, bundled fee transaction clients can now also earn base Ðiscovery Miles for all qualifying purchases made using their virtual debit card.
Tip: If you have a Transaction Account with pay-as-you-transact fees, , now is a great time to upgrade so you too can earn Ðiscovery Miles throughout the month and enjoy benefits like getting up to 30% off at over 40 retail partners on monthly Miles Ð-Days.
Earn max Ðiscovery Miles by using your virtual debit card
To help encourage the use of this valuable digital technology, the maximum base Ðiscovery Miles earning rate will be linked to the use of a virtual card for all of your online and in-store spending from 1 December 2023. To ensure you keep earning the maximum potential rewards, simply pay with a virtual card instead of a physical card.
Your virtual card base earn rate of up to 1 Discovery Mile per R20 spent will still be determined by your Vitality Money status and Discovery Bank product. However, all purchases made using a physical card (even if linked to a digital wallet) will earn base Ðiscovery Miles at a flat rate of 1 Discovery Mile per R100.
