Access all your Discovery product portfolios in the banking app - latest enhancements

Discovery Bank clients are used to having all their banking and product details, money management tools and rewards information all conveniently in one place. The Discovery Bank app now incorporates all your Discovery info into the same convenient platform, so you don't have to switch between Discovery apps to see detailed information about your Discovery products.
Our latest update to this feature allows Discovery Health Medical Scheme members to view their recent medical aid claims in the banking app.
How to access your Discovery information from your banking app
Accessing your other Discovery information on the Discovery Bank app couldn't be easier. Simply:
- Log in to the Discovery Bank app.
- Swipe through your list of account until you find the portfolio tile you want to view.
- Tap the Discovery tile you want to see more information for.
Personalised Discovery information you can access in the Discovery Bank app
Discovery Health
You can now find your Discovery Health Medical Scheme details alongside your banking and other portfolios. Simply select the Health Portfolio section to find your:
- Health plan type
- Medical aid policy number
- Medical Savings Account balances
- Recent medical aid claims
- Gap cover plan type
- Gap cover policy number
- Gap cover annual limit
Discovery Insure
If you need your insurance information, simply select the Insure Portfolio tile and you can find a detailed summary of all your Discovery Insure info. Info you can find in this new section include your:
- Your Plan type and monthly premium
- Your policy number
- Amount of vehicles insured
- The value of your home and other insurance
- Your 12-month fuel cash back amount
Need more information? Then simply scroll down to find even more information, such as your policy inception date, and even a breakdown of all your different insured item types and value of insurance.
Discovery Invest
Simply select your Invest Portfolio tile to see the details of all your Discovery Invest investments in one place. You can easily access investment details such as:
- The investment type
- The account number
- The current market value
- Total contributions to date
You'll also see the commencement date and active status for each policy, as well as information about previous withdrawals.
Discovery Life
Select the Life Portfolio to see a summary of your Discovery Life Plan benefit details and the amounts you're insured for. You can also see the same information for all spouses or other lives assured on your policy.
For example:
- Life Cover
- Illness Cover - such as Severe Illness Benefit
- Disability Cover - such as the Capital Disability Benefit
Plus, see your payback amounts and next payback dates and the details for your beneficiaries, as well as the percentages for and type of payout they could receive.
Personalise your app experience
You can customise your banking app dashboard by choosing the order in which your accounts and different portfolio information display. To change the order of your accounts or different Discovery product portfolios, simply:
- Log in to the Discovery Bank app.
- Tap Accounts.
- Tap the menu in the top-right corner and select Change account order.
- Use the finger icon on the right to tap and drag the account to change the order of the accounts.
- Tap Update to save the new order of accounts.
With Discovery Bank, there's no more switching between Discovery apps to find your important Discovery information. Get all your info in our banking app or through Online Banking on the Discovery website.
