5 Ways you can earn a little extra from driving well

What can you do at Tiger Wheel & Tyre as a Vitality Drive member?

1. Get up to 20% discount off your Tiger Wheel & Tyre purchases
If you need new tyres, wheels , automotive batteries or in fact any trusted products and services supplied by Tiger Wheel & Tyre, you can get up to 20% off your purchase (based on your Vitality Drive Status) at your nearest Tiger Wheel & Tyre store. All you need to do is ensure that you have your Vitality Drive card on hand so that your discount can be processed in store.

Vitality Drive status discounts are as follows:

• Blue: 2.5%
• Bronze: 5%
• Silver: 10%
• Gold: 15%
• Diamond: 20%

Your discount is limited to tyre purchases up to R5 000 per transaction and up to a monthly maximum benefit limit of R10 000. The discount benefit cannot be used for your Annual MultiPoint check nor used in conjunction with promotion benefits from time to time.

2. Collection and/or installation of the Vitality Drive Sensor or Crowd Search Sensor
The Vitality Drive and Crowd Search Sensors work in conjunction with the Discovery Insure app and provide the most accurate way to measure your driving behaviour.

• After selecting the most convenient Tiger Wheel & Tyre store to activate and install your Drive sensor, please ensure you download the Discovery Insure App and register your profile as prompted. This will save you time on arrival at the store. Failure to complete this important step ahead of your store visit can add significant time to the installation and activation process. On arrival at your most convenient Tiger Wheel & Tyre store, the team will activate and link the pre-downloaded App to your newly installed sensor.
• You will then be able to link and connect your individual Vitality Drive card to your insurance plan and begin earning your fuel cash back benefit. If you have lost or have a faulty Vitality Drive card, replacement cards can be collected at any Tiger Wheel & Tyre too.

Safety features of the Vitality Drive and Crowd Search Sensors include:

• Impact Alert - Upon impact, this feature signals a potential accident and automatically sends emergency assistance to your location if a Discovery Insure consultant isn't able to get hold of you.
• Weather warnings - Notifications are sent to you as significant weather changes are detected. This helps you to adjust your driving behaviours accordingly to remain safe and better protect your valuables from bad weather.
• A vehicle panic button - Should you need it, an easy-to-access panic button on the smartphone app allows you to request help when in an emergency situation in your car.
• Built-in 'Find my Vehicle' functionality - Should your vehicle be stolen, this feature helps us to track the whereabouts of your car in real-time, and assist with its recovery.

3. Complete and pass your Annual MultiPoint check
This check consists of a series of tests and assessments to ensure that your vehicle or motorcycle is roadworthy and safe to use on our roads. Included in the check are tests that ensure your vehicle's tyres, lights, indicators, windscreen wipers, hazards, steering, hooter, seatbelts and shocks are in working condition. Your service history will also be checked so as to ensure that the maintenance of your vehicle is up to date. The Annual MultiPoint Check costs R95 per vehicle, and cost accrues to the vehicle owner. The fee must be paid post inspection completion irrespective whether the vehicle passes or fails its inspection process.

Once passed and completed, you will earn 150 Vitality Drive points every month for 12 months. You can also give your fuel cash back percentage a boost to up to 50% (depending on your plan and whether you have car and household insurance cover) when you pass the check.

4. Fund up to 100% of your tyres using your Insure Funder Account
You can also fund a set of new tyres using your Insure Funder Account in addition to earning the initial discount of up to 20%. When you are making your purchase at your chosen Tiger Wheel & Tyre outlet, your applicable Vitality Drive status percentage discount will be applied. From there you can opt to use your Insure Funder Account to fund a portion of the balance of your invoice. How much you can use is dependent on the balance available in the account (and this is also based on your Vitality Drive status).

Status portion percentages are as follows:

• Blue: 5%
• Bronze: 10%
• Silver: 35%
• Gold: 70%
• Diamond: 100%
