Dreams are powerful ignitors of hope for a better tomorrow. Fulfilled dreams can help encourage children with life-threatening illnesses to fight the challenges that come with their conditions. We invite you to be a part of this through our latest MoveToGive campaign with Reach For A Dream.
From 17 October 2018 to 23 November 2018, all Vitality Open and Vitality Active Rewards members who achieve their fitness or drive goals can choose to spend their Vitality reward points on MoveToGive - contributing towards building a Dream Room in the paediatric oncology ward at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
A Dream Room is a place that aims to assist with healing and will help children feel uplifted and stimulated. Children will have access to a range of educational and imaginary play games, like building blocks, doll houses, and board games to choose from, as well as electronic games and items for creative crafts.
Once complete, the Dream Room will also be used for hospital consultations where children can be assessed in a calm, friendly atmosphere. For children that cannot leave the hospital, this is also where their Reach For A Dream dreams will be fulfilled, like meeting a TV personality or sportsperson.
