How it works

• If you haven't already, download the Discovery Bank app and open a Discovery Bank account
• Nominate a qualifying Discovery savings account by renaming it to Savings Goal before the end of February 2020.
• Qualifying Discovery savings accounts include new or existing Discovery Savings Accounts, Discovery Notice Savings Accounts, or Discovery Tax-Free Notice Savings Accounts. They also include new Discovery Fixed Deposit Accounts with an investment term of six months or more, but exclude any existing Discovery Fixed Deposit Accounts and Vitality Savings Accounts.
• Deposit a minimum of R500 each month into your nominated qualifying account until the end of July 2020 or deposit a minimum of R3 000 once-off into it before the end of February 2020.
• The deposits must stay in the account until the end of the promotion to qualify for the prize.
• Remember that new Discovery Tax-Free Notice Savings Accounts require an initial minimum deposit of R1 000, and new Discovery Fixed Deposit Accounts require a once-off minimum deposit of R10 000 and don't accept additional deposits.

Save between 15 January 2020 and 31 July 2020 to get an entry!

Steps to add a new savings account:

1. Log in to your Discovery Bank app
2. Tap Accounts
3. Tap  on the top right
4. Select Add Account
5. Tap Save and Invest
6. Choose from the list of Discovery savings accounts on offer and tap Get this

Steps to rename a new or existing savings account:

1. Log in to your Discovery Bank app
2. Tap Accounts
3. Tap the qualifying Discovery savings account you would like to rename
4. Tap on the virtual card to open the account details
5. Tap Account nickname and input the text Savings Goal
6. Tap Save and you're done

The prize

If you're selected as one of the five lucky winners, we'll match the total deposits made into your 'Savings Goal' account between 15 January 2020 and 31 July 2020, up to the value of R10 000.
