Make sure your trips record on the Discovery Insure app

Our records show that you are using a Huawei smartphone. Your phone has features that run in the background that cause the Discovery Insure app to either close or record driving trips inconsistently.

Check your background settings

To make sure the Discovery Insure app function properly and automatically record your trips, please follow the instructions below to amend your phone settings:

Settings > Apps > Apps > Insure > Power usage details > App launch

To ensure your settings are correct, please follow the instructions below.

• Manage automatically > OFF
• Auto-launch > ON
• Secondary launch > ON
• Run in background > ON

Settings > Apps > Menu (this is the three dots) >Special access >Battery optimisation

• All apps > Insure > Don't allow
