The annual Sabrina Love Ocean Challenge
The Sabrina Love Ocean Challenge is an exciting annual event that brings together swimmers, paddlers, runners, cyclists and walkers in the Plettenberg Bay community.
Spanning three days, the event’s activities include a 10 km road run, 15 km surf ski challenge, 6km ocean swim and 5 km beach walk. There is also a 1-mile ocean swim, trail runs and a 25 km mountain bike ride.
The Sabrina Kids of Steel duathlon allows children between the ages of 6 and 10 to take part in a scenic swim in the Keurbooms River, and an exhilarating mountain bike ride through the town’s indigenous forest.
The Sabrina Love Ocean Challenge forms the main fundraising event for the Sabrina Love Foundation, which is dedicated to the care of children living with special needs in the Bitou region in Plettenberg Bay.
