Help South African families feed themselves with vegetable gardening kits
In light of ongoing food insecurity in South Africa, Vitality MoveToGive has partnered with Reel Gardening to provide families with garden kits to grow their own vegetables.
Reel Gardening is passionate about kickstarting a Planting Revolution, by creating seed-packs which require water sparingly and can help provide food for families. With Vitality MoveToGive, eco-friendly vegetable garden starter kits can be donated by members spending their Discovery Miles. You can help
Get active, drive well or spend responsibly through Vitality Active Rewards to earn Discovery Miles. You can then donate your Discovery Miles towards garden starter kits of five vegetables from Reel Gardening through Vitality MoveToGive using the Discovery app:
- For 250 Discovery Miles, enable a person in need feed themselves for a month
- For 1000 Discovery Miles, enable a family in need feed themselves for a month
- For 2 500 Discovery Miles enable a family in need feed themselves for a year
How you can donate
- Activate Vitality Active Rewards in the latest version of the Discovery app.
- Achieve your exercise, drive or money goals to earn a play on the gameboard.
- Pick a tile on the gameboard to reveal Discovery Miles.
- Spend your Discovery Miles on Vitality MoveToGive charity donations.
