Help Wings and Wishes provide transport for children in need of specialised medical treatment

Wings & Wishes does much more than provide a bus or flight ticket for those in need. They share compassion, support and care to the families of children who are on a journey of tackling illnesses.

Since its inception in 2006, when Wings & Wishes flew three to four children per month, today they transport at least three children and an accompanying adult every single day. But it isn't just about providing transport. Families are met by a volunteer who will help them with check-in procedures and any support needed. Children receive a pack of basic essentials while in hospital, including pyjamas, toiletries, colouring books, crayons and any other comfort items - including a special stuffed toy named Wellie.
