GoSmokeFree programme
The once-off cost of the programme is R1,380.
The programme consists of six sessions with a nurse trained as a GoSmokeFree adviser. These are accredited and managed network of GoSmokeFree advisors (currently trained nursing practitioners in Clicks and Dis-Chem pharmacies).
The programme begins with a pre-quit assessment where your readiness and motivation to stop smoking is determined and a quit date is set, followed by once a week, one-on-one sessions with the trained nurse.

- The pharmacy will be able to submit the claim on your behalf directly to Discovery Health. The system will tell the pharmacy if your plan covers the cost or not and if you have available funds.
- Members can also pay in full for the programme up-front and then claim afterwards by submitting the invoice and proof of payment to Discovery Health for reimbursement.
