Important updates to Smart Plan clients on Vitality Active

 

All Discovery Life clients on a Smart Plan will no longer have access to the Vitality Drive ring and a Vitality Drive status through Vitality Active from 1 January 2022.

If you choose to join Discovery Insure you will be able to access this ring, earn Vitality Drive points towards a Vitality Drive status. Join Discovery Insure today.

Here's what's new in 2022

As we wind down 2021, and move forward into 2022 here is a recap of all the things you can look forward to:

  • Say hello to HealthyFood! You'll soon be able to get 20% back on thousands of HealthyFood items from Pick n Pay or Woolworths. The HealthyFood benefit replaces HealthyCare from December 2021.
  • To help you keep active, we're introducing a new fitness device benefit. It's designed to help you fund up to 100% of the cost of a new fitness device by reaching weekly Vitality Active Rewards exercise goals, and will be available soon.
  • In 2022, you'll have access to a new pay as you gym benefit. This will enable you to work out at over 150 Virgin Active and Planet Fitness gyms at discounted Vitality rates, without committing to a long-term contract.
