Move To Give
As our Discovery Vitality members get healthier and more active with Vitality Active Rewards, they're also able to use their Discovery Miles to make a difference by using their Instant Rewards to donate to selected charities through Vitality MoveToGive charity initiatives.
TapToGive
During TapToGive campaigns, Discovery Bank clients are able to use their limited-edition Discovery Bank virtual cards for in-store and online payments in order to make a difference within sport. In 2023, the TapToGive campaign saw Discovery Bank donate 5000 rugby balls and 5000 netballs to various beneficiaries as part of the #LetsGoal campaign.
Pothole Patrol
Since 2021, Discovery Insure and Avis Southern Africa joined forces with the Johannesburg Road Agency for the Pothole Patrol initiative. Together, we're dedicated to creating safer roads for everyone. To date we have filled 240,000 potholes
Fire Force
A fire occurs in Johannesburg every six hours. Discovery Insure launched Fire Force in June 2022 in partnership with Advanced Emergency Management Solutions (AEMS). Fire Force is a market-first safety innovation, that operates with a network of fire response vehicles along with a team of well-trained and experienced firefighters.
