MoveToGive a child a new smile
Vitality MoveToGive and Smile Foundation have teamed up to give children with facial conditions and severe burns access to the best possible surgical and psychological care. Because every child deserves to smile.
Discovery Vitality members can now donate their Ðiscovery Miles to Smile Foundation through Vitality MoveToGive in the Discovery app.
Smile Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation passionately committed to helping children living with facial conditions such as cleft lip and palate, facial paralysis, ear and nose conditions, craniofacial abnormalities, and burn wounds.
With over 5,200 children and families supported over 24 years, the foundation helps children from disadvantaged backgrounds get access to life-changing surgeries and treatments, restoring their smiles and quality of life. Its holistic support includes psychological care before and after surgery, speech therapy, nutrition, as well as transport and accommodation assistance.
How can you help? From 12 November to 13 December 2024, you can donate your Ðiscovery Miles to Smile Foundation through Vitality MoveToGive in the Discovery app or Discovery Bank app.

Achieve your weekly exercise, drive or spend goals through Vitality Active Rewards to earn Ðiscovery Miles. You can then donate your Ðiscovery Miles to Smile Foundation through Vitality MoveToGive:
When you get active, drive well and spend responsibly, you can earn Discovery Miles through Vitality Active Rewards and donate them to the Smile Foundation:
- For 200 Discovery Miles, you can help contribute towards facial reconstructive surgery for children in need.
- For 1,000 Discovery Miles, you can help provide counselling sessions to children who are recovering from burn trauma.
- For 2,500 Discovery Miles, you can help provide transportation for a mother and child in need to access life-changing reconstructive surgery.
How to donate to Vitality MoveToGive
- Activate Vitality Active Rewards in the latest version of the Discovery app.
- Achieve your exercise, drive or spend goals to earn a play on the gameboard.
- Pick a tile on the gameboard to reveal Discovery Miles.
- Spend your Discovery Miles on Vitality MoveToGive charity donations.
