Every child and youth has the right to a better life. It is also every child's right to nourishing food, warmth and a good education. Afrika Tikkun, a non-profit organisation, aims to give disadvantaged children the resources they need to thrive by offering Cradle to Career developmental programmes and a fully integrated social services programme for children in need.
They also place youth development at the centre of their service. This is why Vitality MoveToGive is partnering with Afrika Tikkun this Youth Month. Together, we can impact lives.
Here's how you can help
You can help fulfil the needs of children like Kgabo in underserved communities. Get active, drive well or spend responsibly through Vitality Active Rewards and earn Discovery Miles. You can then donate your Discovery Miles towards Afrika Tikkun's initiatives with Vitality MoveToGive using the Discovery app:
- For 400 Discovery Miles give a child in need the energy required to concentrate and learn by providing them with a warm meal.
- For 750 Discovery Miles, enhance studies for a child in need by donating a beanie and scarf to keep them warm this winter.
- For 2,000 Discovery Miles, enhance our youth's access to information and academic support by contributing towards tablets for the Youth Development Centers.
