Vitality MoveToGive has partnered with CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa to help provide transport, a place to stay and learning support to children and teenagers with cancer or life-threatening blood disorders.
CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa is a non-profit organisation that provides free, comprehensive support to children with cancer and life-threatening blood disorders and their families.
By offering psychosocial, emotional and practical support, CHOC aims to keep more than hope alive. And you can help support their mission with your Ðiscovery Miles.
How can you help?
From 28 September until 2 November 2026, you can donate your Ðiscovery Miles towards our latest Vitality MoveToGive initiative with CHOC:
For 200 Ðiscovery Miles, you can help CHOC provide a home-away-from-home to keep families together while a child receives cancer treatment.
For 500 Ðiscovery Miles you can help CHOC provide transport for children and their caregivers to and from life-saving cancer treatment.
For 1,500 Ðiscovery Miles, you can support a month of learning and educational support for children and teens getting cancer treatment.
Three ways to donate
In your Discovery app
Select Vitality MoveToGive under Top Deals in the Vitality Mall.
Here's how:
- Activate Vitality Active Rewards in the latest version of the Discovery app.
- Achieve your exercise, drive or spend goals to earn a play on the gameboard.
- Pick a tile on the gameboard to reveal Ðiscovery Miles.
- Spend your Ðiscovery Miles on Vitality MoveToGive charity donations in the Vitality Mall.
In your Discovery Bank app
Select Vitality MoveToGive as an instant reward option in your Discovery Bank app.
Here's how:
- Log in to your banking app.
- Scroll down and select Vitality Active Rewards.
- Select Instant Rewards.
- Choose the MoveToGive option.
- Tap Get your instant reward and select Confirm.

In your Discovery app
Select Vitality Sleep Rewards in the Discovery app.
Here's how:
- Activate Vitality Sleep Rewards in the latest version of the Discovery app.
- Achieve your sleep goal to earn a reward.

- Select the Vitality MoveToGive campaign you'd like to support and tap Confirm.
