Help girls stay in school for longer by donating towards sanitary care

Would you want every young girl to get an uninterrupted education, a restful night's sleep, and the self-assurance that comes with feeling protected? Sadly, many underprivileged girls in our country feel the loss of all three due to a lack of resources to manage their periods. But together, we can make a difference to these girls' dignity and education.

Discovery Vitality members like you showed their generosity by donating nearly 100,000 packs of sanitary pads to the Dis-Chem Foundation's Million Comforts initiative through Vitality MoveToGive. Thanks to a matching donation from Stayfree, the total number of pads reached close to 200,000 packs.

Between 30 June and 11 August 2023, you can donate your Discovery Miles towards the Million Comforts initiative and be a part of this noble cause through Vitality MoveToGive in the Discovery app.

How to empower school girls through Vitality MoveToGive

Get active, drive well or spend responsibly through Vitality Active Rewards to earn Discovery Miles.

• For 160 Discovery Miles, you can donate a packet of sanitary pads to a girl in need.
• For 960 Discovery Miles, you can donate six months' worth of sanitary pads to a girl in need.
• For 1,920 Discovery Miles, you can donate one year's worth of sanitary pads to a girl in need.

1. Activate Vitality Active Rewards in the latest version of the Discovery app.
2. Achieve your exercise, driving, or financial goals to earn a play on the gameboard.
3. Choose a tile on the gameboard to reveal Discovery Miles.
