2026-10-22 : Fitbit moving to Google Health
Google has moved all Fitbit integrations to Google Health. As a result, you will need to switch from your existing Fitbit connection to the new Google Health connection. This change begins on 20 October 2026 and will continue until 30 October 2026, after which the existing Fitbit connection will be decommissioned. If you currently have a linked Fitbit, you will need to update your app, then delink and re-link your device through Google Health to ensure your data continues flowing to Vitality after the migration. Make sure you've downloaded the Google Health app and linked your Fitbit device. Then log in to the latest version of the Discovery app and:

• Go to Vitality > Quick actions > Devices Link & Sync.
• On the Devices and apps page, tap Link a device or app.
• Select Google Health from the list of device partners.
• Enter your details and log in to your Google Health app.
• Tap the permissions page to allow Google Health to share your steps, speed, heart-rate and sleep data with Vitality.

The Devices and apps page will reload and show your Google Health account as linked.

2026-10-12 : You can track your sleep with HUAWEI now
You can now use your compatible HUAWEI Watch to track your sleep and get rewarded with Vitality Sleep Rewards.

1. Open the latest version of the Discovery app.
2. Delink your HUAWEI Health profile.
3. Relink your HUAWEI Health profile.
4. Make sure you allow both exercise and sleep data sharing again.

2026-10-05 : You need Vitality Pay to access VFit
You need an active Vitality Pay profile and a qualifying Discovery Bank account to access your VFit free visits. If you haven't activated Vitality Pay yet, simply visit the Vitality Fitness journey in the Discovery app and follow the prompts to get started. Once Vitality Pay is activated and you meet all other benefit requirements, you'll be able to access your VFit free visits.

2026-05-18: Update to HealthyCare rewards for family memberships
Rewards now go to the member who made the qualifying purchase, based on transaction order, rather than being prioritised to the main policy member. See the HealthyCare benefit guide for details.
