Once you've completed the visa application form on the official UK government website (www.gov.uk), you can book an appointment to visit our visa centre at 1 Discovery Place, Sandton, through Vitality Travel.

- Schedule your appointment with VFS Global at 1 Discovery Place
During your appointment, VFS Global will collect your visa application and biometrics in our comfortable, centrally located premises.
Discounted access to the VFS Premium Lounge for Discovery Bank clients
Discovery Bank clients can now enjoy discounted access to the VFS Premium Lounge service when applying for a UK visa.
The VFS Premium Lounge offers a more comfortable, private, and streamlined visa application experience at select VFS Global Visa Application Centres across South Africa.
Clients using the VFS Premium Lounge receive:
- Access to a dedicated lounge area with personalised support from VFS Global staff
- A more comfortable and private application environment
- Document upload assistance or a self-upload document-checking service, which includes an expert review of self-uploaded documents
- A faster, more streamlined submission experience
The VFS Premium Lounge service is available at VFS Global application centres at the following cities:

How to access the VFS Premium Lounge service
Once you've completed your UK visa application on the official UK government website (www.gov.uk), follow these steps:
- Log in to the Vitality Travel platform
- Select the VFS Premium Lounge service and generate your Eligibility Pass
- Proceed to the VFS Global booking platform to schedule your appointment
- Attend your appointment and present your Eligibility Pass at the VFS centre
Please note:
- The VFS Premium Lounge is separate from the Discovery Airport Lounge benefit and applies only to your visa appointment.
- The discounted rate is validated when your Eligibility Pass is presented at the VFS centre.
- All clients must first complete their UK visa application and obtain a valid GWF reference number before making a booking.
Exclusive doorstep visa services for Discovery Bank Purple clients
Submit your visa application in the comfort of your home or office. Discovery Purple Wealth clients and Discovery Bank Purple Suite clients have exclusive access to VFS Global's On Demand Mobile Visa service.
Once you've completed your visa application form on www.gov.uk, contact your Discovery Purple Consultant to schedule your On Demand Mobile Visa appointment at your preferred location.
VFS Global will visit you on the appointed date to assist with your UK visa application, biometrics and document submission. You'll receive notifications on the status of your visa application, and your passport will be delivered to your registered address.
This service is available within Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria city limits.

These services are available to qualifying Discovery Bank clients after completing the UK visa application on the official UK government website.
ODMV is a premium service where VFS Global collects your biometrics and documents at a location of your choice (home, office, or another venue). It is available in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Pretoria.
- Purple Wealth clients who meet their portfolio requirements and their registered dependants receive complimentary ODMV service, including transport costs.
- Purple Wealth clients who do not meet portfolio requirements and Purple Suite clients can access ODMV at a discounted rate of R3,125 per booking (25% discount). Transport and additional charges may apply based on location.
The 1DP Visa Centre is an exclusive facility for Discovery Bank clients offering:
- Shorter waiting times
- Central location
- Appointment-only access
- Included services: document upload, SMS notifications, and courier return of documents
There is no additional cost for using this centre.
The VFS Premium Lounge is an optional paid service that offers a more comfortable and private visa application experience at select VFS Global visa application centres. Discovery Bank clients receive discounted access to this service through the Vitality Travel platform.

However, all visa applications are assessed by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), and processing times, decisions, and outcomes remain entirely independent of the lounge service.
