Discovery Bank has partnered with VFS Global to bring the UK visa application experience closer to you.
All qualifying Discovery Bank clients will have access to a dedicated visa support centre at 1 Discovery Place in Sandton, offering greater comfort and convenience.
Your UK visa application made easy: how it works
Once you've completed the visa application form on the official UK government website (www.gov.uk), you can book an appointment to visit our visa centre through Vitality Travel.
- Log in to the Vitality Travel booking platform from your computer
- Select UK Visa Support Services
- Schedule your appointment with VFS Global at 1 Discovery Place
During your appointment, VFS Global will collect your visa application and biometrics in our comfortable, centrally located premises.
We'll update you on the status of your visa application. Once you are notified, visit the centre, collect your passport, and you're good to go.
Exclusive doorstep visa services for Discovery Bank Purple clients
Submit your visa application in the comfort of your home or office. Discovery Purple Wealth clients and Discovery Bank Purple Suite clients have exclusive access to VFS Global's On Demand Mobile Visa service.
Once you've completed your visa application form on www.gov.uk, contact your Discovery Purple Consultant to schedule your On Demand Mobile Visa appointment at your preferred location.
VFS Global will visit you on the appointed date to assist with your UK visa application, biometrics and document submission. You'll receive notifications on the status of your visa application, and your passport will be delivered to your registered address.
This service is available within Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria city limits.

Vitality has partnered with VFS Global to offer Discovery Bank clients a more convenient way to complete their UK visa applications. This partnership supports the administrative portion of the visa process and provides tailored service options for added comfort and flexibility.
There are three service options:
- On-Demand Mobile Visa (ODMV): A premium biometric and document collection service at a location of your choice for Discovery bank Purple Wealth clients.
- Visa Application Centre at 1 Discovery Place (1DP): An exclusive appointment-only centre for all Discovery Bank clients.
These services are available to qualifying Discovery Bank clients after completing the UK visa application on the official UK government website.
ODMV is a premium service where VFS Global collects your biometrics and documents at a location of your choice (home, office, or another venue). It is available in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Pretoria.
- Purple Wealth clients who meet their portfolio requirements and their registered dependants receive complimentary ODMV service, including transport costs.
- Purple Wealth clients who do not meet portfolio requirements and Purple Suite clients can access ODMV at a discounted rate of R3,125 per booking (25% discount). Transport and additional charges may apply based on location.
The 1DP Visa Centre is an exclusive facility for Discovery Bank clients offering:
- Shorter waiting times
- Central location
- Appointment-only access
- Included services: document upload, SMS notifications, and courier return of documents
There is no additional cost for using this centre.
