Makazole Mapimpi and Lukhanyo Am join as Discovery Vitality Ambassadors
Makazole and Lukhanyo had an unconventional and fairly late start in rugby, but this was followed by a meteoric rise to success due to their incredible talent and dedication.
For these rugby legends, life has been challenging. But it highlights their talent even more and shows the hard work that has gone into being a part of one of the greatest rugby teams in the world.
The pair were responsible for South Africa's historic first try in a final at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, with Lukhanyo's 66-minute pass to Makazole as he powered down the field. Their names will forever be recorded in rugby history.
From being teammates, and standing united in a campaign against gender-based violence, these Discovery legends represent the pinnacle of South African talent and national pride.
