We're replacing your unredeemed rewards with new rewards, valid for 3 months

 

Vitality members who weren't able to use their rewards before the stay-at-home period started can rest assured. You will be able to redeem your rewards from our extensive Vitality partner network once they have been allowed to open for business.

At Vitality, keeping you safe and rewarded is our top priority. That's why we're constantly innovating and updating our Vitality Active Rewards platform to bring you new and exciting rewards that are relevant to the times.

For example, we've just launched a range of custom-made Discovery reusable fabric face masks to help keep you safe from COVID-19. You can redeem your mask reward for 200 Discovery Miles from Dis-Chem or Takealot.com, or purchase it for the low price of R39.95.

If you selected a reward before the lockdown started that you weren't able to use - for example a coffee or a smoothie - you won't lose it. We are going to replace your selected rewards with new rewards that have a longer validity date. Here's what's going to happen.

Your old reward is going to disappear for a short while

In the Discovery app, the reward you chose but couldn't use is going to disappear to make way for your new reward. When you see your reward is gone, - do not panic. It's just our programming wizards doing their thing behind the scenes to give you a new reward.

Your new reward will be valid for three months

Take note that we will not be extending the expiry date on your old reward, but removing it completely and giving you a new reward that will be valid for three months after it shows up in your app.

When the lockdown is over or at a lower level, you will be able to redeem your rewards at our Vitality partners such as vida e caffè, NU, KAUAI, Mugg & Bean, Ster-Kinekor, Nando's, StopWash and more.

For now, you can choose rewards at our online partners that offer essential services and are able to deliver, for example Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Dis-Chem, Clicks, Takealot.com, Yuppiechef, Loot and NetFlorist.

We've made a number of enhancements to the Vitality Active Rewards programme to help you achieve your exercise, drive and money goals safely. Stay healthy and rewarded with Vitality at Home, our latest initiative to help you achieve your exercise and health goals while you're staying at home. We've also launched the Vitality Home-Workout Channel and the virtual Vitality Run Series to keep bringing you more exciting opportunities to stay active and earn Vitality exercise points at home.
