How do I log into my account?
If you are a Discovery Insure customer, you can view your policy details and make changes to your policy quickly and easily in your online account.
To log into your account, simply follow these steps:
- Select log in from the main site navigation
- Enter your Discovery credentials
- You'll be signed in
How do I know if I have an account?
All Discovery customers have a customer account and access to our apps! After you buy your policy, we will create an online account for you using the email address you signed up with. You will need to activate your account the first time you access your profile on the website and a mobile apps.
What do I do if I can't log into my account?
Logging into your account is usually easy, however sometimes you may experience some issues with the process. The tech team have provided us with some handy advice, for when you are experiencing problems with logging in:
Make sure that you are trying to log in with the email you signed up with. If you are trying to sign in with a different email address to the one attached to your policy, the system won't recognise you. Check for 'accidental spaces' too, as the system will not recognise you if you add spaces to the email. If you have changed or forgotten your email, please contact us from the Help page on our website.

How do I change my car and home insurance plan?
To change your car and home insurance plan, email us at insuremaintenance@discovery.co.za or speak to your financial adviser.
How do I cancel my car and home insurance policy?
You can cancel your car and home insurance any time by contacting us on 0860 751 751.
We'll debit any unpaid premiums and, after the cancellation date, you won't be covered by Discovery Insure anymore. You'll also give up any rewards you earned that weren't paid to you before the cancellation.
